Adrian Gillespie Beach, ARCA (1911 to 1983) was a well recorded British painter and draughtsman, noted especially for his portraits, figure subjects and landscapes.  He studied art at the Royal College of Art in London, gaining his diploma, and exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1950 and also with the New English Art Club.  He painted widely in Italy and Spain, and also at various locations in the UK, including Derbyshire.  He lived for many years near Woking in Surrey.
